I recently purchased this MSI computer and, honestly, I'm very happy with it. It's an excellent choice. It has high-quality internal components, a powerful processor, plenty of RAM, and a graphics card that easily handles everything I need. The materials used also pleasantly surprised me. It's sturdy, well-built, and has an attractive design. There's nothing cheap or flimsy about it. As for performance, games run incredibly well. I've tried several demanding games, and they all run smoothly, without stuttering or frame rate drops. This is a computer that truly offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful, reliable, and affordable system.

This is an excellent mid level laptop. Our son is enjoying it a lot. The usb c display port is very convenient for connecting 2 monitors using daisy chain option. Very happy with the purchase.

Plays everything I throw at it at high/ultra while usually staying well above 100fps. Got a nice cooling pad for it as the GPU side of the laptop can get rather warm. Haven't experienced thermal throttling. Fan volume is ok considering what's being asked of it for heat disposition, they usually don't run at 100%. Sound quality is pretty nice. Added a second 2280 SSD, which was pretty easy to install.

Bought this for the great specs at a great price point, but ultimately the cons outweighed that pro and I had to return this. I primarily use a gaming laptop to hook up to various TVs around my house or on trips for mobile gaming. The cooling fans are so loud that I can barely hear the game above them, and had to raise the volume of my TV substantially. You are able to set the max fan speeds to a lower level, but when I did this, nothing seemed to happen. They were just loud, no matter what setting I tried. I downloaded and played Red Dead Redemption 2, and it was unplayable because it would freeze-lag for 1-2 seconds at a time randomly, and when I got into a more intense gunfight, the game crashed completely to desktop. I lowered the graphics settings to almost the minimum and it still lagged. I spent hours trying to troubleshoot why this this laptop that was great on paper would struggle with a 2018 game. I couldn't fathom why there wasn't a silly, software or driver-based reason and solution for this. But nothing I tried worked. I ultimately decided that, whether these problems were fixable or not, it wasn't acceptable to need to spend hours scouring forums trying solutions to fix serious performance issues to even make the laptop usable. I ultimately returned this to Best Buy after a few days. I'm still giving 3 stars mainly because I suspect that I got a lemon. My time on help forums showed me that most people were able to fix their issues or had no issues at all out of the box. I unfortunately was not one of those people.
