Ortofon - Concorde Music MM Phono Cartridge - Red

2M HiFi Phono Cartridge With Elliptical Diamond StylusThe 2M Series of cartridges is designed for precise and accurate retrieval of the information in the record groove. Ortofon's philosophy is to play the record sound as accurate as possible without coloring the sound. The name 2M was selected from several ideas. Ortofon wanted a modern name that would be easy to pronounce and remember and therefore an alphanumerical name was chosen. 2M means MM which is the abbreviation for moving magnet. The 2M series of cartridges features Ortofon’s trademark split pole pins an invention that enables moving magnet cartridges to have a flat frequency response as with a moving coil cartridge. Split pole pins were invented by Ortofon and were originally presented in the 500 series and Super OM series.  We have optimized the design for ease of mounting the cartridge and the weight and size to fit the most common turntables on the market today. The 2M Series provides excellent compatibility when used in an assortment of playback systems and with a wide variety of phono preamps. 2M Red Series Features:an improved engine which provides an increased output of 5.5mVa tipped Elliptical diamond and split pole pins with a copper wireWhat's In The Box:1 x Stylus brush1 x Screwdriver2 x Screw M25 x 52 x Screw M25 x 7Specifications:Output voltage at 1000 Hz 5cm/sec: 55 mVChannel balance at 1kHz: 15 dBChannel separation at 1 kHz: 22 dBChannel separation at 15 kHz: 15 dBFrequency range at - 3 dB: 20-22.000 HzFrequency response: 20-20.000 + 3 /

The AT-VMx series elevates premium dual moving magnet cartridge design with added warmth, precision, and realism for engaging vinyl playback. Dual magnets aligned to the stereo groove mirror the cutting head geometry, delivering accurate tracking, wide frequency response, and strong channel separation. Advanced paratoroidal coils with high-purity copper wire, fewer turns, and a center shield plate reduce crosstalk and sharpen transients for a clean, stable stereo image. The AT-VM750xSH adds a lightweight Shibata stylus and solid boron cantilever for greater groove contact, lower distortion, and faster signal transmission, capturing delicate detail and dynamic impact. Easy-mount threaded inserts, a V-cut stylus guard, interchangeable styli, and a low-resonance metal body make this cartridge refined, versatile, and simple to install.

The AT-VM95ML/H combo kit includes the AT-VM95ML dual moving magnet cartridge premounted on the AT-HS6BK headshell. VM dual magnet cartridge with 2.2 x 0.12 mil Microlinear stylus. Aluminum cantilever. Specially wound coils increase output voltage. Durable low-resonance polymer housing. Threaded inserts in cartridge body enable cartridge to be mounted to headshell with just two screws – no nuts or washers required. Compatible with any AT-VMN95 replacement stylus. Universal ½"-mount headshell for 4-pin turntable cartridges.
