A: No. It's just a charger with a USB port. You can use ANY cable as long as one end is USB-A, the other can can be B, micro, C, whatever.

A: No, it is not okay for a Motorola Z3 phone.
A: The original charger in my opinion works best. If you use any other charger the charging time appears to be much slower. I always like to buy two of the same items, just in case I need spare parts. I hope this information was helpful.
