Featuring the DL-165 graphics chipset, the Plugable UGA-165 DisplayLink adapter enables multiple monitors with virtually any Windows laptop, desktop, or tablet, Mac, or ChromeBook (one adapter required per monitor, up to six on Windows PCs and four on macOS). Supports any monitor or projector with HDMI, DVI, or VGA inputs. Get the full benefits of USB, including plug and play connectivity, thin and flexible cabling, and ability to connect via USB 2.0 hubs and repeaters. Performance USB graphics adapters work by rendering 2D/3D with your computer's CPU and GPU, and then compressing and transmitting the pixels that change over USB. Best suited for web and productivity software, not gaming or full screen video playback. Compatibility Windows 11,10, 8.1/8, 7, XP (32 bit only). Drivers can be automatically installed from Windows Update or downloaded directly from Plugable. Supports Intel, M1 (Pro, Max), M2 (Pro, Max), M3 (Pro, Max), M4 (Pro, Max) Macs on macOS 10.14+ with software installation from Plugable's website. Supports monitors and TVs up to 1920x1080 60Hz. Does not support HDCP, and will not allow for playback of encrypted Blu-ray disks or copy-protected content from services like Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime. Not recommended for gaming or full screen video playback. Not compatible with ARM-based Windows (Surface RT). Vista Home Basic and Win7 Starter Edition.
