The adapter uses Silicon Motion graphics technology, so driver installation is required. Windows drivers typically install through Windows Update, while macOS users must manually install the InstantView driver. Some corporate IT environments may restrict driver installation. Important: this adapter does not support playback of HDCP-protected streaming content, including Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and similar services.
