A: This has a dynamic height adjust system, all you'll need to do is lift up on the soundbar until it's flush with the bottom of the TV, there's a pull cord to release if you'd like to lower it back down. The depth of the soundbar can also be adjusted during install, so you'll be able to get the face of the soundbar and TV flush, while also having no gap between. Review your soundbar manual as well. Some soundbars recommend 4" of clearance for up-firing speakers, this will ensure optimal sound quality.
A: My TV was already mounted on the wall, and the Best Buy Agents who came out to mount my soundbar did have to take the TV off the wall.
