Samsung - 27” Odyssey FHD IPS 240Hz G-Sync Gaming Monitor - Black

Coming from a 25in 240hz Alienware monitor, I was a little worried about the lower pixel density due to the same resolution (1080p) being stretched now over a larger surface area of 27in. I've had this issue before with the 27in Alienware 240hz monitor, one of the main reasons I switched to the smaller 25in. But to my surprise this samsung panel does some magic with the image it displays. The picture is clear and pixels are not noticeable, at least to my eyes. The colors are the most vibrant I have ever seen on a computer monitor. I purchased the screen at 279.99 on sale, for that price I cant think of anything that would beat it. If your system doesn't do nicely to 1440p, this is the 1080p monitor to try. In regards to the refresh rate, at 240hz I was unable to see any blurring or ghosting on games like Valorant or Apex Legends which I did notice on the 27in Alienware screen. I attached a photo of my setup to show the size difference from my 24in second monitor and the 27in samsung.

Setup was quick and easy, and it worked perfectly right out of the box. The design is clean and looks great on my desk. The Samsung Odyssey G4 is an impressive monitor for gaming and everyday use. The 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make gameplay extremely smooth with no noticeable lag or ghosting. The only downside is that the built-in settings menu can be a little tricky to navigate at first, and the speakers aren’t very strong — but that’s expected for most gaming monitors.
