Q: Needing to know if the plug is 3 or 4 wires, is it a plug or must be hardwired to junction box
A: My unit was hardwired to a junction box and was the recommended installation. Be aware of the electrical requirements. I needed to upgrade from a 30amp to a 50amp circuit breaker. As such, I needed to verify my wiring to make sure it was the proper gauge.
A: The installation requirements are available on the Samsung appliance webpage and I would strongly suggest you use this information. If access to the installation requirements is not readily available, they may be obtained through a best buy retail outlet.

BEAUTIFUL LOOKING COOKTOP
Purchased this to replace an Electrolux Hybrid Cooktop that crapped out on me. The burners heat up quick and is very easy to operate. I however thought that with the WiFi Smart Connect that I would be able to control some features on the cooktop. It seems you can only view on your phone or tablet, not change the timer or adjust the temperature. Still looking into the app to see if its operator error. Overall good product for the money.
