A: Unlocked means......If you buy your phone for example from Verizon, or sprint, their phone will come locked and they will charge you to have them unlock them even if you a already a customer. They need to do this in order to set up your phone. If you buy your phone from lets say Best Buy they will come already unlocked. Then all you have to do is bring your phone to a provider like Verizon or Sprint, (and you are a customer already) they will set that phone up with no charge

Q: Could A10e be used to listen to radio from speaker (not ear plug)?
A: I verified that A10e phone allowed me to listen to local FM radio stations directly without WiFi, without cellular network. I downloaded free NextRadio app and plugged in ear phone. The ear phone wires act as antenna to receive radio signals. You can listen from ear phone. In the app, you can set “output to speaker”, then you can listen to phone speaker. No need to pair with Bluetooth, no internet is required, no phone minutes are used. Phone battery lasts much longer than streaming radio from internet. All these are possible since the phone has a built-in radio chip. This feature is not mentioned in the user manual. Some phone representatives in store do not know about it. In case of emergency when power is out, WiFi is not available. If cellular network is also out, FM radio is an alternate to listen to emergency announcement and information. Samsung J7 phone and other Samsung phones should have this feature. Apple phones do not.
