Using this external drive (Samsung T7) to transfer files & do backups for six of my legacy machines (macOS & Win98-XP), plus a newer M2. Having formatted the drive to FAT32 - plus having the cables Type C-to-C & C-to-A - I'm able to connect this drive successfully to each computer. At 1TB storage, I'm able put all of my files (photoshop, 3D model, game, doc) from all of my machines onto one drive. Super-Joy! But take note, I'm storing files no larger than FAT32's 4GB filesize limit (sorry 6GB tar file). So I'm absolutely thrilled with accessing my files from one drive. And the speed boost pleasantly surprised me better than expected - SSD flash memory transfers data in seconds rather than minutes, as with the mechanical (rotating plates of) HDD. I couldn't be happier. Thanks Geek Squad for this Refurbish!
