About this product
ShadowAuto is a plug-in OBD-II GPS tracker for anyone who wants to know where their car or truck is, without wiring, tools, or a technician. This listing includes a full year of ShadowGPS service in one upfront payment, so there is no monthly fee to think about for 12 months. Plug it into your vehicle's OBD-II port and it starts sending live location updates every 5 seconds while you are moving. Built for families watching over a teen driver or an aging parent's car, and for small businesses running a few work trucks, ShadowAuto pairs a permanent, vehicle-powered setup with real-time alerts for crashes, speeding, curfews, device removal, and geofence breaches, all through the ShadowGPS app on iOS and Android. It also reads your vehicle's OBD-II diagnostics, so you can catch a check-engine code or a low battery before it becomes a breakdown. Review a full year of trip history with animated route replay, and manage every vehicle on your account from one dashboard. ShadowAuto is backed by a US-based team with secure data handling and real support. After the first year, service continues on a no-contract plan you can cancel any time.
Features
Plug It In. Tracking Starts In Under 2 Minutes
No tools, no wiring, no technician. Plug ShadowAuto into your car or truck OBD-II port and it starts tracking. Works with gas vehicles from 1996 or newer and most diesel models. The low-profile shape sits flush and out of the way, so it works just as well in a family car as it does across a few work trucks.
Live Location Every 5 Seconds, With Smart Alerts
Follow your car or truck in real time in the ShadowGPS app, with location updating every 5 seconds while you are moving. Get instant alerts for crash detection, speeding, curfews, device removal, ignition events, and geofence breaches. Share live location with family or a co-worker, and view live traffic to make smarter, safer calls on the road.
Engine Health, Battery & Check-Engine Alerts
ShadowAuto reads your vehicle's OBD-II diagnostics so you can stay ahead of costly repairs. Watch battery voltage and fuel level, and get real-time alerts for check-engine codes right in the app. Catch problems while they are still small, whether it is the family car or a truck you cannot afford to have sitting.
1-Year Trip History, Route Replay & Full App Control
Review up to 12 months of trips including start and end times, stops, routes, mileage, and speeds. Replay any trip with animated route playback. Rename devices, manage several vehicles from one account, and add users. Available on iOS, Android, and the web.
1 Year Included, Then No Contract, Ever
This listing includes a full year of ShadowGPS service upfront, so there is no monthly fee to think about for 12 months. After that, service continues on a plan you pick, month-to-month or prepaid, with no contract and no cancellation fee. Every feature is included on every plan, and every vehicle after the first is billed at a lower rate on the same account. Backed by a US-based team with real support.
