Love it. Very easy to install. The speakers are (mostly) thoroughly thought thru: + You bring the cable in from the back, feed it thru a hole in the speaker and connect to the speaker at the front. +/- The connector are push buttons; little tricky because the cut out is a little small. I would prefer classic screw downs, but you do it just once, so not a big deal. +/- At one of my speakers the front cover was very hard to assemble, had to bend it to fit. A flexing snap-fit would be easier, but the risk of broken pins is not uncommon, especially cheap plastics getting brittle over time outdoors. Get a high quality outdoor cable. And get more than you need. You do not want to be short by 1 ft. + The setup for the Sonos is simple as for all Sonos systems. Had no issues at all. Two downs: - you should not use the speaker when temperatures are below freezing. Sucks if you live in a winter area. +/- It lacks bass. But I did not expect that from this setup. Just for heads up: The Sonos Amp has a dedicated outlet for a subwoofer! Furthermore to get a solid bass outside in a large, open backyard, you need a big woofer. But the quality of the music is still awesome. I use it as a background music system only, so it fully does the job. My guests like it a lot.

The speakers themselves are very high quality for an outdoor environment with great sound. When paired with the Sonos Amp, it is a great value,and particularly when they were on sale. I have multiple Sonos prodts already, and the included Amp was an upgrade to an 8 year old amp. I would definitely recommend this combo to anybody looking for top quality streaming sound and audio quality.

This system is great. The sound is fantastic!! If you are handy this is easy to set up. Hardest part is mounting the speakers and feeding the wire inside. I opted for Geek Squad installation because it was a surprise for my husband. I have no doubt he and I could have easily done it ourselves. App works great to control system and the ability for multiple people to control iss very convenient.

I have been using a Sonos amp and Polk atrium 8 SDI speakers on my deck for 4 years now and they sound excellent. When I saw the deal on this, I figured I would give them a try given the speakers really come out to be $200 since the amp is around $800 at list. These speakers aren’t even worth $200. They sound awful. They have a very poor frequency response and pretty much no low end from the 6 1/2 inch sealed driver. You have to really jack up the equalizer to get any type of decent response out of these. I will say that the sound does travel very far so you can fill a large space with them without any type of distortion but overall those speakers are just not “hi-fi” quality in the least. I’m not saying the Polks are the best there is but they sound much better than these. Unfortunately I will have to return the amp along with these because I need to upgrade the speakers and I’m not going to waste the money as I would not even install these anywhere on my property. They also do not work with the Sonos architectural true play tuning, which I was led to believe that they would so I’m not sure what’s up with that.

I bought when this was a deal of the day and have no regrets - it sounds amazing. Very easy to set up. I had a local electrician install the speakers for a very nominal feee. I play them using Apple Music and sometimes add my Sonos Move speaker sitting on the opposite side of the pool to create 360 degrees of sound. If you can get it on sale I highly recommend it!
