Works great
I'm using this for external eSata backup drives. It was very easy to set up and use. Construction is solid and the performance is great. I love that it actually came with an eSata cable.

Gets job done
Easy to setup. It can do both sizes of sata drives. Hot swap doesn’t work as I expected. You must safely eject the drive then turn the device on and off for the new drive to be recognized. Overall, it works well.

this docking station is a life-saver
I ordered this from Best Buy the day my desktop PC died (I think it was the severe thunderstorm the night before did it in). all I had to do was connect the USB cable, plug in the power, and insert the hard drive. I was able to get all the data I needed from the hard drive onto my new notebook PC. I don't know what I would have done without it. this docking station also fits solid state hard drives, so, if my notebook dies, i'll be able to recover the data.
