A: I would use a good quality cord instead of what comes with it and both chargers will work but recommend one like the iPad charger because it will charge faster

Q: Is the blocked intake going to overheat my system?
A: Keep in mind the back of the Switch is intake for the fan exhaust on the top of the console. The speakers are on the bottom of the Switches screen on the front.
