This power inverter converts DC energy to AC energy to run your AC appliances while you're on the go. Overload and short circuit protection automatically turn off the inverter if the connected load is too high or if the inverter shorts.
Q: Does this include a cigarette lighter connector? Any other connectors?
A: Hello, Thank you for your interest in our Slimline 500W Power Inverter, in regards to your inquiry, the device does include a Cigarette Lighter Connector, as well as a pair of Clamp type Battery Cables that would connect directly to the Battery Terminals.
Q: can it be plug into a power outlet n be charged
A: Hello Aaron, Thank you for your interest in our Slimline 500W Power Inverter, the Power Inverter converts 12V power from your vehicle or from a 12V battery source to a 120V power source that can be used with most appliances and electronic devices. It REQUIRES a 12V power source, and is not "Rechargeable" as it does not retain a charge, but rather CONVERT it into 120V.
A: Not quite sure what you mean by landscape wire, even tried googling it and nothing but spools of wire came up. As far as connections go on the inverter, you get the three output sockets; 2 household outlets, one usb. And you have one of two ways to input the 12v to be converted; via two twist top terminals intended for direct battery connection using their supplied cable, or by using the supplied cigarette lighter adapter. Those are the only connections in and out of the invertor.
Q: What the difference between 100 W and 500 W inverter?
A: Hello Ines, Thank you for your interest in our Slimline 500W Power Inverter (item no. 3716), as the name suggests the 500W Slimline inverter would be capable of providing up to 500W continuously (with 1,000W Surge power) and would thus be able to power any devices that require up to 500W or less. As for the 100W inverter, just as the name suggests, it can provide up to 100 W and would only be able to power devices that require 100W or less. Depending on what you are trying to plug in and power, you would need the inverter to be able to provide enough power for your device, so we would recommend you find out how much power the device you are wanting to use requires before choosing the correct inverter for your purchase.
Q: How long does it stay charged?
A: Hello Kei, Thank you for your interest in our Slimline 500W Power Inverter (Item no. 3716), we believe there may be some sort of misunderstanding about this device. We would like to inform you that this device is a POWER INVERTER that would convert 12V DC to 110-120 V AC for use with appliances and electronical devices that require a 120V input (the same kind of power you would find in your typical Wall AC Socket at home). This device would need to be connected directly to a 12V power source, in order to convert it into 120V AC. This device does NOT have any sort of battery or charging capability.
A: Hello, Thank you for your interest in our Slimline 500W Power Inverter, in regards to your inquiry, if the devices you are plugging in require up to 220W of power, this inverter should certainly be capable of powering those devices for you as it can provide up to 500 W. The general rule of thumb is to add up the projected Power Requirement / Load for the system and then adding 20% to it to determine the size of the inverter you would want for your setup.
