Counter Depth Side by Side
This is our first experience with a counter depth side by side refrigerator. We had a full size french door refrigerator before. It is very nice having a little extra pass through room in our kitchen between the refrigerator and the island that is for sure. Since we are now empty nesters the smaller size of the refrigerator works nicely with our new lifestyle. Having the ice maker on the door of the freezer gives us an extra shelf on the freezer side which is quite nice. The refrigerator is quiet, keeps proper temperatures and the water/ice dispenser is extra tall to accommodate larger water bottles. We are very happy with our purchase so far.

Stylish, quiet & efficient side-by-side
Quiet, stylish and convenience of in-door ice maker and water/ice dispenser. Our new side-by-side Whirlpool is actually smaller than our former one by 3 cu. ft. (was also a Whirlpool) and have had no issues with enough space. We love it.

It's A Little Noisy Unfortunately
I Love everything about about my Whirlpool counter depth refrigerator except how noisy it is. It would be perfect except for the annoying ticking sound when it's running. I bought the 5 yr warranty so I will call Best Buy about it & see if it can be fixed. Other than that it's exactly what I wanted.
