A: You can use any monitor, but to get the benefit of the resolution the Mac can support, a 4K monitor is razor sharp. I got the MSI 4K at Best Buy, about $190. Yes you can use any keyboard and mouse. If they are older USB models you may need some cheap adapters. You can buy a Mini with 1TB, but it much cheaper to buy an external. I'm using a 1TB Crucial. Got everything I needed at Best Buy!

Solid little machine
Picked up the Mac Mini (16GB RAM, 256GB SSD) from Best Buy and I’m super happy with it. This thing is fast, quiet, and handles everything I throw at it—web browsing, work apps, even some light coding—without breaking a sweat. The 16GB RAM makes a big difference if you tend to keep a bunch of stuff open. The 256GB storage is fine for my needs, but if you deal with a lot of large files, you’ll probably want to add an external drive. I love how compact and clean it looks on my desk. Setup was a breeze, and it plays really well with my other Apple devices. Shipping from Best Buy was quick and hassle-free too. If you’re looking for a smooth, no-nonsense desktop setup, this is definitely worth it.

Perfect Mac for kids and families
This Mac mini is an excellent choice for school-age kids, especially elementary through middle school. It’s fast, quiet, and incredibly easy to set up. The new M4 chip makes everything feel smooth, whether it’s homework, browsing, light creative work, or school apps. Parental controls are simple to manage and give great peace of mind. I also love that it works seamlessly with any monitor, so you don’t need to buy extra Apple hardware to get started. Just plug it in and go. The size is compact, the performance is impressive, and it feels like it will last for years. For the price, this is one of the best desktop options out there for families and students. Highly recommend.

Compact, smooth, and great value for money
Its a small 5x5 desktop computer that compact enough it fits in any limited space. And for such great value for money for an Apple product. Even after playing some games on it such as Asphalt 8+ you hardly hear any noise coming from it. It runs smooth, quiet, and is very responsive when opening apps. It excels at productivity tasks Web browsing, listening to music, watching movies, shows. This is a great entry point into macOS and a great deal for those who don't want to end up spending more then $1k for a macbook or imac. Another plus is you can easily connect it to 3rd party accessories including monitors especially if you use both windows and mac. Another bonus with this is the ability to upgrade the storage with third party accessories, something you cannot do on other macs. This is by far the most affordable and customizable mac in the lineup. Only few complaints was getting some files migrated from my old windows pc C drive to this took a few misses. I wind up having to create a separate user admin profile and then migrating over documents. Do remember if your ever going to migrate data from Windows to Mac make sure firewall is OFF on windows so that the data transfer is smooth. And the inability to shut down the mac from the lock screen is another complaint I have. But overall a great product and entry point into macOS.
