Quieter
Bought this unit for the bedrooms. It is quieter than my GE unit. It does work well and easy to install. I do wish the piece that fits in the window was deeper to allow room for hose part. We used the foam but still had to add a towel in the window track to raise enough to fill in the gap.

Excellent unit!
 I have 675feetin my small home. I bought this unit and I put it in the bedroom and I have one in the living room. Between these two units it cools my entire home to a pleasant 75° even though it’s 93 outside. Noise? It’s no louder than a fan running. Actually I find it quite soothing to listen to. cooling? I will not sleep in a hot bedroom again thank goodness! It feels so pleasant in there. Easy to set up? Yes! I am 64 and very arthritic. I was able to roll the unit over and assemble it in approximately 15 minutes. Now it’s in there quietly, my room is super cool and I’m a happy camper. Absolutely love this unit! When winter comes, I will simply store it and shut the window. Way better than window unit who wants to lift one of those heavy things into the window and secure it? Not me. This was a great for, the price.
