    Samsung Galaxy S7 Paid $150 for warranty and $150 deductible to replace a phone and receive a replacement phone with a battery that does not hold charge. Warranty is not worth buying.

    When I got this plan with my phone, I initially thought that if I had a problem with it I could just return it and get instore credit or exchange with another phone and pay the small difference as done with my tablet a couple months earlier. However, I was told that I couldn't do that. I was suggested to go to the manufacturer instead of paying a service fee with geek squad ever since it was still within a year. This was the 1 Year GSP plan for phones $100-$149. PLEASE READ the terms and conditions of your particular plan before leaving a bad review and especially considering adding it to your purchase so you don't get your hopes up. However, I do suggest that Best Buy can clarify what each particular plan offers in the description instead of digging through a pdf or opt for simple a 3 tier (low, med, high) protection plan with a check sheet across all electronics and appliances. If any of this sounds too complex for you. You could consider either buying additional protection from either the manufacturer or try Walmart's protection plan which Is a bit more simpler to comprehend.     Did not purchase a warranty with my other phone and could have used it. Feel safer now that I have protection for my phone if and when I should need it.

    Salesman told me that the protection was for one year and if anything was to happen to phone I would get a new one at the store all lies they want 200 service fee I will not shop at best buy any longer Amazon from now no out

    Could Not Transfer!

    I brought this protection for the Blu phone. Could not stand the phone so I went back and brought a different phone. Could not trade in the Blu phone and could not transfer protection plan or get a refund.

      Geek Squad Protection on mobile devices is intended for the device it is purchase for. While exceptions can be made in some scenarios, it will be at the discretion of store leadership and how long you've owned the phone.
