    Better than insurance through Sprint. It is much cheaper and I have never had a problem whenever my phones have gotten damaged.

    It all started when I was told that there was not a deductible for the plan. I couldn't find this information on my own fast enough so I started chatting with an agent. The agent specifically told me there were no charges when a phone was replaced. SO, I bought it of course because that provides a lot of piece of mind. 7 months later I went to get my phone screen replaced and I was told it would be 150 dollars. This displeased me greatly. I started chatting with another agent and told them my issue with being told that there was no fee. They said that although they could not give a discount for my trouble, they gave me a number that I could call for support that would likely be able to waive the fee due to the misunderstanding. I called the number and their tone and language was pretty much: That is absurd. You should have read all of the fine print yourself. (Side note: always save chat transcripts) So, I eventually paid the full 150 dollars that I had no idea would be involved. Needless to say, I was not pleased. Make sure you have all the info before buying.

    i bought a note8. my cousin ran it over on purpose. then i fell out of a boat into salt water. then i dropped it. then it was time to replace it.

    Ive been buying my phones from bestbuy for over 10 years because of the service plane. Never had a problem never was asked to pay a deductible and never was informed that it had been changed before i bought it. I went into the trumbull ct store to get my phone replaced and was treatee very rudely. I had just got a phone replaced a year earlier and didnt have to pay a deductible. I was told 2 different answers by a manager and an employee when the deductible started the employee said 3 years ago. When i asked for a manager after telling them i replaced the phone less then a year ago and didnt pay a deductible then i was told by the manager it had been in effect for about a year and a half. So why 2 different answers seems fishy to me. Bestbuy lost a lifetime customer that day.

It is called out in our Terms & Conditions, available at www.geeksquad.com/terms, and you should have printed out on your receipt at the time of purchase. We have had this service fee in place for mobile phone Geek Squad Protection Plans since September 1, 2013.You may not have paid the fee on your previous phone replacement if the issue was covered by a manufacturer’s warranty.
