Get through long bicycle rides and steep climbs with this 26-inch Electron smart wheel. It mounts on your cruiser or mountain bike’s front fork for an instant electronic bike setup, and its slope-sensing technology provides automatic power adjustment on uphill paths. This 400W Electron smart wheel has Bluetooth connectivity for wireless app-enabled operation.
Q: Is the battery mounted in the wheel or does it mount elsewhere on the bicycle?
A: Great question! Electron Wheel's motor, battery, and smart sensors are all self-contained within the wheel. This makes for a super simple 30 second installation on your front fork, without the need to mount a battery or run wires down your frame. Please don't hesitate if any other questions we can answer.
Q: is there a peddle sensor than you velcro to the peddle crank?
A: Hey David, yes Electron Wheel's wireless pedal sensor easily attaches to your pedal crank. It can mounted on either the inside or outside of the crank, depending on the configuration of your bike. Let us know if any other questions we can answer, thanks!
Q: Can a throttle be attached to the wheel?
A: As far as I know, no. It senses how hard you are peddling and you can feel the accelerator kick in.....but it’s automatic. No throttle.
Q: Can you ship the wheel to Slovenia? How much$?
A: undefined
Q: I have been trying to find out where the wheel is made.
A: From all the research that I have done about electric bikes, l believe that most components of ebikes come from the far East. Which is not bad thing. The Gen ll wheel l received says From China. It is very well constructed and l expect to getting many good years of service. I have put on 80 miles on my new wheel and love it. Check your local laws about motorized bicycles. They are illegal in Ohio. I expect to get a ticket one day. JP
Q: This is the new model? Gen 2
A: Yes. I received this Gen 2 wheel a few weeks ago. Very nice improvement over the previous model that I purchased in August. Love this wheel. I live in Ohio. Disappointed that it is mostly illegal to ride an ebike in Ohio. Check your local laws.
Q: Does it perform well offroad in terms of vibration resistance.
A: Hey there, thanks for the question. We only recommend use for on-road conditions or light trail to protect internal components. Feel free to reach out with any other questions.
