Great price on top of the line robot vacuum

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5Pros mentioned:PriceCons mentioned:BrushMy Roomba was dead, the charger wouldn't lit up and it was all beat up. No tread left on tires and really old tech. It didn't have tagle/hair free brushes or smart navigation. So I decided to try something new. I started with the Roborock S4 as a replacement and I really liked it, for 299$ on sale. But the description that it holds 3 maps is misleading. Any time I would put it downstairs it would erase the old map with all its settings and create 3 copies of the new map. It was on the latest update and I checked online and there was no acceptable solution for me to get it to work on more than 1 floor. I researched the 360's and they look just like the Roborock's but are less expensive. I have heard they are made in the same factory but I cannot confirm that. I decided to go with the S9 to see if that would help to simplify my supervision of the robot or to do it more remotely and this one had the most features for a reasonable price. The LIDAR systems alone are a game changer in comparison to the Roomba's not existant navigation systems. The nogo lines and spaces with a LIDAR system are an incredible advantage. Between LIDAR, Utrasound, and the nogo capabilities of this 360 S9 I can't imagine it getting stuck anywhere. I have had it for several months now. I have used it daily on the upstairs and occasionally on the downstairs. It has rarely (3 times in several months) gotten stuck or had issues getting back to the base. I just started using the floor washing system and it works great. I was hesitant to use this because the main floor the S9 is on is hardwood. I will now buy a mat for it to rest on in case it leaks. I would highly reccomend this robot to anyone looking for a robot vacuum. The LIDAR systems and internet connectivity of this robot are amazing. Every time it leaves the doc it sends a message to my watch through my phone. Then when its finished it sends another message and I know the job is done and its going back to base. If it gets stuck it will send you message telling you it's stuck and if you look at the map of it will show you where its stuck. The lidar map shows you the exact route it followed every time it cleans. If you pull up the app with the map it will show you real time where it is and what its path has been. It can be started and stopped remotely if you have good wifi or good cellular internet service. In terms of suction power it has 4 levels. Initially I used the highest because the floor was fairly dirty. Now I stick with the second highest level. In comparison to my old Roomba it does a much better job vacuuming the entire floor. So far the brush is much easier to clean than the Roomba's and there is only one. The app has a ton of options and I have only use a couple of them. I am very happy with this vacuum and I will continue to update this review as I continue to use it and try more features. It is a little shorter and wider than the Roomba so it has a little more trouble going through my kitchen chairs when they are under the table. Initial start and registering with the app was a little challenging. I could not find the text or email verification code that was sent to me until I went into email settings and pulled up the all sections of email. Thats when I found the email with the code I needed to register the app and robot. I am allready familiar with the fact that most internet connected devices use 2.4 Ghz wifi exclusively. Also if your phone is on a 5Ghz network it is hard to connect or controle your connected devices on a 2.4Ghz network. My phone is always connected to a 2.4Ghz network in my home.
