As you draw, the tip of the 3Doodler extrudes or forces out heated plastic, which quickly cools and solidifies into a hard structure.

Draw a flat form and peel if off a piece of paper, create a freestyle 3D object, or create several separate parts and then join them together.

Start right away with included PLA plastic packs

Two packs, 25 strands each, of PLA plastic included. PLA plastic is biodegradable, sticks well to surfaces and looks translucent. Additional packs sold separately.*

Built-in LED indicator light

PLA plastic melts at a lower temperature than ABS plastic, so the setting depends on the material you're using. The PLA setting turns the light green, while the ABS setting turns the light blue.

Suitable for children ages 14 years and older

For safe use.
