This review hurts me to make. This rangefinder is very cool, but that's it, just cool. Let me preface, i'm coming from a $80 bluetees rangefinder that I really didn't have any issues with but wanted something more accurate with some extra info. The screen was awesome at first, it shows distance to front, back and middle of green and also shows green view. All of that is really awesome. But when you're playing a packed course and just need a quick range, this thing takes an extra 5-8 seconds just for the screen to turn on, and another 5 seconds to "attempt" to shoot the pin. My friend grabs his Bushnell rangefinder and has a distance for us in literally 2 seconds. Why I said "attempt" to shoot the pin, this rangefinder likes to grab EVERYTHING but the pin. I've watched reviews of how easy it is to shoot pins but boy, have i not had the same experience. If there's a tree behind the green at all, it's grabbing the tree. I'll get 170 yards to the pin adjusted, but then you look at the gps cords on the bottom and it says the back of the green in 152. I will have to stand there and try to grab the pin 4 or 5 times before i actually get an accurate distance. For the price, this thing should never grab anything but a golf pin. I've made sure it's updated to the correct version and synced but it still refuses to grab pins. There's also a feature on this rangefinder that lets you see over blind hills where the green is. It doesn't work. It aims you nowhere near the green. I'm not sure if this is a beta feature or what, but it doesn't work at all. I strongly recommend running with a standard magnified rangefinder, this is not worth the money. Maybe if it goes on sale it's worth but at the moment, it's not good. I've started just using friends rangefinders when available. It takes far too long. I strongly regret my purchase.
