Apple - Geek Squad Certified Refurbished MacBook Pro 14" Laptop - M3 Pro chip - 18GB Memory - 14-core GPU - 512GB SSD - Silver

I was in need of a new laptop, and I was leaning towards the MacBook Air since it's more budget friendly for a college student. I was concerned about the lack of a fan in the Air, which held me back a bit since I do run lots of code and 3D modeling software, and thank god it held me back. I came across this listing, for only $120 more than the Air, I get double the storage, more RAM, a bigger display (plus 120 Hz refresh rate vs 60 Hz on the Air), actual ports without the need for like 20 adapters, a more powerful CPU and higher core GPU, plus a proper cooling system. I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews for Best Buy's refurbished program, but I pulled the trigger since there's a return policy. Not going to lie, it came pretty dirty, and the language was set to Russian, but after a quick clean and a couple of random clicks to attempt to change the language, it was up and running. A couple nicks here and there (I personally don't care, the original listing price was $1900, so I'll gladly take a tiny bit of cosmetic damage), no scratches, and no dents. Runs great though. Ran a diagnostics test and everything came back green. Was also able to add it to my Apple Care plan which was a huge worry for me. AND IT CAME WITH A BRAND NEW BATTERY! Honestly, with the overall value, and considering it's refurbished, it gets 5 stars despite the minor cosmetic imperfections (PFA) and the language barrier I had to face when setting it up. As long as you don't expect to receive something in brand new condition, you'll be happy.

They sent me the wrong laptop. Wrong Color, wrong chip, wrong amount of RAM and wrong charger. THEN when I tried to return it at Best Buy, they didnt accept it. Overall dissatisfied. I shipped it back on Sep 20th and am still waiting on a refund. I would advise you verify you received the right laptop/chip as well: Apple Icon on top left > about this mac

Overall great laptop, with amazing battery life. The screen is bright and has crystal clarity. No damage and was very clean. If you are purchasing a refurbished version just know it’s not coming in the original or even an apple container. Got this at amazing price, which I couldn’t pass. It is replacing my 2017 MacBook Pro so a real upgrade. With the apple M3 Pro usage is buttery smooth. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the right speaker is blow out so anything above half volume you can hear the distortion, but at the price it doesn’t bother me as I use my AirPod pros or wired headphones with it.
