For anyone looking at getting a gear camera for a great price. look no further. The video and photo capabilities of this camera make it a steal at this price. Plus you get the flip out screen!!! First off, the photography capabilities of this camera are amazing. The sensor is fantastic plus you have the ability to use picture profiles. Which put this camera above the competitors in my opinion. I actually went with this camera after owning the a6100 and the photography experience with this camera has been more enjoyable. The color science is better. There is a mechanical shutter. The continuous air focus is slightly better. When it comes to video you can’t beat this budget camera. Again the color science is amazing. The autofocus is amazing. The small footprint of the camera makes this easy to carry anywhere. I carry in a sling that is the same size of a fanny pack. The microphone is really good, no real need for an external mic. The one negative is the rolling shutter which can be bad when filming fast moving subjects. I have had no troubles with this using a gimbal. I gave four stars because it does use the smaller Sony battery which doesn’t last as long. The rolling shutter is a con compared to other cameras. There is no 4k 120. For the price in today’s economy you can’t beat this camera. I included some sample photos, as well as how I pack it. (The photos are compressed, the original file was too big)

I recently picked up the Sony ZV-E10 and immediately felt like my content leveled up without me having to level up my skills. The image quality is ridiculously good for the price... sharp, vibrant, and forgiving enough to make me look like I know what I’m doing. Autofocus is fast and locked in, especially with face and eye tracking, so I can move around, talk with my hands, and not end up blurry like a cheapo webcam. The flip-out screen is perfect for vlogging and solo shooting, and the camera is light enough that I don’t dread carrying it around. I even added a small rig and a few accessories. Still fairly compact. What really sold me is how easy and fun this camera is to use. I didn’t need to watch 100 YouTube tutorials just to hit record, which feels like a small miracle for a Sony. The audio quality is surprisingly decent for everyday shooting, but a small cold shoe accessory helps. And while the battery life is okay, grabbing a spare is smart if you plan to film longer sessions. I grabbed an extra 2. The menus are still very “Sony being Sony,” but once you get past that, this camera absolutely delivers. Overall, the ZV-E10 punches way above its weight and makes creating content feel less like work and more like “yeah, I should probably film this.” Highly recommend.
