Beautiful high performance ARM based OLED laptop

I've been using the ASUS Zenbook A14 with the new Snapdragon X2 Elite CPU and Adreno GPU, and it feels like the laptop Windows on ARM was supposed to become. The 14-inch 2K OLED panel is the first thing you notice: sharp text, deep blacks, great contrast, and enough brightness (500 nits) for coffee shop work without washing out. The one drawback is the refresh rate is only 60 Hz. The chassis is light but doesn't feel flimsy, and the keyboard has a clean, premium snap that makes long typing sessions easy. The trackpad has a premium feel and is one of the very best I’ve used on the Windows side. Performance has been excellent for everyday productivity, browser-heavy work, streaming, photo edits, and multitasking across a pile of apps. The X2 Elite is quiet, fast, and impressively efficient; battery life is the best part if you travel or hate being tied to an outlet as this laptop boasts a whopping claimed 33 hours of battery life. In my everyday use I came very close to that stated ceiling, maxing out at 31.5 hours. 16GB of memory feels right for this class, though I wish ASUS offered 1TB storage as standard because 512GB fills up quickly. App compatibility is much better than older ARM laptops, but a few niche utilities still need checking before you buy. However, note that most AAA games will not run on an ARM CPU like the Snapdragon X2. I was able to install Call of Duty Black Ops 6 but could not get it to launch. Overall, this is a sleek, modern laptop with a gorgeous screen, strong battery life, and enough speed for users who value portability over gaming power.

yeah this one is a beauty

if you type of person that enjoys, traveling a lot and enjoy having a laptop with you, I think the aces Zen book A4. It’s definitely a good recommendation for that type of people. Opening this laptop you can definitely tell it’s a premium laptop that could rival some competitors out there. This Asus Zen try to wrap him book is light easy to carry not only that it’s beautiful. PRODUCT Even the box itself it looks very minimalist. It’s a gray with a kind of silver font. That’s in the center, which says the Asus Zenbook. Inside the box you also will get your 9 USBC fast charging. unboxing the device itself. It feels very premium. It’s easy to lift the laptop itself. And apparently Asus uses Ceraliminum material (ceremic - aluminum blend) it feels soft when you touch it than just your regular aluminum, its also resistant to finger prints but I notice at the back side has higher chances when it comes to finger prints oil. Zenbook A14 only weight 2.40lb, the battery life has also been great to me considering no major gaming was use. I/O ports includes 1 hdmi 2.1, 2 USBC, 1 USBA port and 3.5’m headphone jack. its a 2k OLED with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 ans 60 hz. with 500 nits of brightness. EXPERIENCE. this laptop is equipped with snapdragon X2 elite, the boot time is very fast moving around the cursor feel smooth even web browsing feel smooth. I did try to run multiple windows to see if i’ll noticed any slow down but so far it seems like the laptop can handle the heat. When it comes to switching application from browsing the web to email, the laptop feels very fast and if you are traveling and you want to game on this laptop, I would not put any heavy hitting games. I would stick to with 2D games. when it comes to thermal and noises, I thought the laptop stays pretty cool and quiet most of the normal time I used it. And of course it’s OLED so the colors are popping, beautiful glossy screen, the build quality does not feels cheap, the keyboard is very consistent when pressed. one thing that I wish considering the price of this laptop is that it supports 120 Hz, it is a bit of a bummer knowing that this laptop is only 60 Hz. CONCLUSION So far from my experience, Asus Zenbook A14 it’s an impressive premium portable laptop. If you are Asus fan its worth checking out. its a strong recommendation for productivity people out there specifically the one who enjoys having laptops on the go. but prioritizing for gaming not so much. I hope Asus would update those laptop to support 120hz, I feel 60hz laptop its a bit behind at this point specially if youre charging for premium price it needs a bit more premium features to justify your full purchase. everything you need for an easy travel laptop is here, beautiful finishes and light to hold. bravo to asus for this beautiful piece of tech.

A sleek, performant laptop with thoughtful touches

The ASUS Zenbook A14 is a stylish, capable lightweight laptop with a gorgeous OLED screen and many fine design appointments. ASUS did a lot to make this PC a joy to use, and it largely works. The key benefits of this laptop are its incredible battery life, ultra light weight, and display. Yes, it is not a touchscreen, but it looks amazing. The speakers and camera are also surprisingly good. The thoughtful touches start with the feel of the very lightly textured “Ceraluminum” coating on the back of the screen and the laptop deck, and the plastic material that makes up the bottom panel feels nearly as good. The screen opens flawlessly with one finger when the laptop is resting on a table or on your other palm, and closes just as easily. The track pad is rather huge and a joy to use, with smooth action and a satisfying click. The keyboard also feels quite spacious for a small laptop, which is of course accomplished by getting rid of extraneous keys like Home, End, PgUp and PgDn. However, the implementation of a workaround in this case is quite useful and easy to get used to, with a press on the “Fn” key and the arrows to perform those four functions, and Ctrl+Fn+Arrow to accomplish Ctrl+PgUp, etc. The laptop is extraordinarily lightweight at just 2.4 lbs and very easy to carry and use. The included power brick is also quite compact and easy to carry, and charges the laptop through either of the two left-side Thunderbolt ports in under an hour. The extended battery life is down to the ultra-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite, which performs everyday tasks with aplomb and barely requires the laptop’s two bottom fans to spin up at all to keep cool. The X2 Elite actually bests some of the top competing processors from AMD and Intel in single-thread performance, and does it all while giving you 20 hours of battery life in standard mode. And speaking of the fans, they are essentially inaudible in all but the most demanding tasks. While the 16 GB of LPDDR5X Ram is soldered to the board, the laptop has an easily replaceable NVME solid state drive and a nearly-as-easily-replaceable battery hidden behind just 10 M4 screws on the bottom. The A14 is, of course, not a gaming laptop, and the on-SOC GPU benchmarks somewhere around a GeForce GTX 1070 in standard mode and an RTX 3070 in performance mode, which is to say, 3 to 10 years behind the curve. That shouldn’t be a problem for the laptop’s intended audience, but it is something to be aware of. If you’d like a PC your kid can use to play Minecraft or Roblox when you’re not working or surfing the web, this might not make the grade. The bottom line is this: if you’re looking for a stylish Windows laptop that looks better and weighs less than a (smaller) Macbook Air and can compete with Apple on performance and battery life while coming in significantly less expensive, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommended.

    Beautiful and lightweight laptop

This ASUS Zenbook has so many bells and whistles! First of all, the finish on the case is amazing. When I first pulled it out of the box, I knew there was something unique about it. I looked into this material that ASUS patented called Ceraluminum. Which is a fusion of ceramic and aluminum. It makes the case strong but light, and also not cold to the touch, which is the norm for a regular aluminum case. The finish is matte but still smooth, so if you wanted to put vinyl stickers all over the top, you could without any problem. The color is called Zabriskie Beige, but to try and describe it, I would just say that it looks like a medium color of travertine. Which is stone, and is cold to the touch, but not this laptop. Another nice thing about the case is that the laptop is easy to open. I’ve had several laptops where it’s so difficult to do, like why don’t you make it easier for us to open the thing? Well, thank you ASUS. It’s super easy and there is a little lip so you know exactly which side is the front and which is the back. This laptop feels very light, and the specs say it’s 2.4 lbs. I weighed it on my food scale and I measured it to be 2.55 lbs., which I was shocked because it feels so light. This is a great laptop if you have to commute with it, take it to school, etc. The battery life is amazing as well. The cord is a bit bulky, but it comes with two Velcro straps to wrap it up and keep it tidy until you need it. The processor is Snapdragon X2 Elite, which is Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful flagship processor for Windows laptops and PCs. The backlit keyboard is great, I can’t really live without one anymore, so please don’t make any without it. The screen is not a touchscreen, but I can forgo that for the backlit keyboard. The camera (do we still call it a webcam?) works great, there’s no sliding cover though. I have an ASUS laptop with one, and I really like that feature. I didn’t talk too much about the general specs, because that’s all on the product page here. I highlighted what stood out to me. This laptop is great, I love how lightweight it is, it’s really fast, and I love how long the battery lasts.

Excellent battery and screen in a small laptop.

Okay, out the box this thing is super light. I am still shocked every time I pick it up. Passes the one finger opening test which is kind of funny how many laptops in this category still can't do it consistently. Now when you first open it you will notice a neat little logo in the top right corner. You'd think it was the power button, nope (big swing and a miss there Asus). That 14 inch OLED screen is absolutely gorgeous. It could be a little brighter but I am being picky. I tent to take this on the deck with me to watch videos and light correspondence. Battery last longer than i thought it would. I won't speak on gaming with this one because it just can't handle triple A titles but my niece says it handles Fortnight just fine. She isn't a hard core gamer (yet). Now I am pretty sure my eyes still work pretty good and I had to adjust the color in Windows but you might not have to. It was a bit too warm for mew out the box. As long as you remember that x86/x64 apps are not native to this laptop you won't be disappointed. The buttons to turn off the camera and mic are a good thing. Windows hello works well with this laptop and the camera it has. Meetings won't be folks asking where did you get that potato from. I definitely recommend grabbing one of these if you are in the market for a lightweight, battery efficient laptop.
