best 3rd party controller on the market

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this controller connects to android and PC by bluetooth without issues. the face buttons and shoulder buttons press down nicely. the D-pad is a little bit mushy but is still the best for 3rd party. the start and select button are well placed unlike some of the newer controllers today. the controller is comfortable to hold for my small dude hands and the battery seems to last forever without charging. the biggest con is that the software does not work on windows 10. i was initially able to connect and update the firmware, but the software could not read the controller months later. i'm decently tech savvy and i have tried everything and it just won't connect. there are some other cons but some are my personal preference. the PSX color scheme looks great, but i wish the y x b a letters were printed on the controller itself instead of the buttons. i think they were trying to style it like the PSX, but the letter colors do not match the shape colors of the PSX controller. also, i believe there is no real warranty. it says 1 year warranty but i've read complaints that 8bitdo will have the customer ship the controller back to china for service. it won't be worth it shipping it there so it completely negates having a warranty. despite the flaws, i give this 8bitdo controller a 5/5 review because it is the best 3rd party controller on the market.

Great for Multi-System/Console Households!

Really nice packaging, fit and finish on this controller. Pairing it was super easy once I did some research and updated my Pi. Connecting to PCs and game consoles is even easier! I just wanted to mention this for people also looking to use this with a Raspberry Pi with RetroPie.

- A:Answer Yes, solid controller. I have PC and Switch games and I like that it can do both in addition to Play Station and Xbox. Good mapping software to assign different profiles to the different platforms.

- A:Answer It does not have HD rumble. It just normal rumble. The rumble feel nice but not as great as the HD rumble. The feature of the 8bitdo pro 2 can change button layout on a app or software downloaded from the 8bitdo website. The features on the 8bitdo pro feel nice to have like back button and the layout is different from the switch pro controller. It look like a ps4 controller.

Q: QuestionHow many controlers can be conected to the same windows pc simultaneously?

- A:Answer Depends upon how many Bluetooth channels are available, and how many inputs the program or software can read. It has an X-Box launch button which launches the X-Box Game Bar, so I assume up to 4 controllers. Works with Wii/Game Cube emulators which take up to 4 control pads, as well as PSX/PS2 emulators which take 2.

- A:Answer Oddly enough, it does. I was curios to find out, so I connected it to my Fire TV and I was able to control the TV using the joystick as a mouse pointer and click button, and the 4-direction pad to select menu options and apps.
