A Hard Day's Night [DVD]

Arguably the first great rock and roll movie, Richard Lester's A Hard Day's Night comes to DVD with this two-disc set from MPI Home Video. The transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio. The English soundtrack is impressively rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. Supplemental materials include commentary tracks, interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and Lester's short The Running Jumping & Standing Still Film. MPI Home Video has finally given this classic film the type of DVD treatment it so richly deserves.
