A Turtle's Tale: Sammy's Adventures [2 Discs] [Blu-ray/DVD] [2010]

This is such a cute movie. I had never heard of this movie until saw it on cable and now added it to my son's collection. The only downside is that the digital copy was expired so he can't even take the movie with him on his devise.

This is a fun movie to watch with or without the kids.

Bought this for my grandson who is 3. he loves it and so did Grammy. As a matter of fact all enjoyed this story

This is a cute movie that following a 50 year span of time from the hatching of the main protagonist, an anthropomorphized sea turtle, Sammy. There is a lot of narration and the story can move slowly form time-to-time, but it's a children's movie and our three-year old loves it. It is sprinkled with environmental messages throughout, so it may lead to some questions from a child who doesn't know/understand some of the things humans do to the environment. Definitely glad for our purchase.

Ok, so the reason we got the movie was cause by the front cover it looks as though it is a spin off of "Finding Nemo" and my 3 year old daughter had earned herself a movie and made the correlation between the two. First thing first, my fault, it wasn't Pixar like Nemo is and the animation is pretty bad at times and is quite noticable in HD. Acting was so-so but what bothered me the most is the Left-Wing Liberal message through out the entire film. I was shocked at how just straight foward it was. Needless to say, she was playing in the room and kind-of not really paid attention to the movie so I let it run its course. After it was over I put the movie in the case and placed the case in the grabage...very disappointed.
