Acer - Swift Go 16 AI - Copilot+ PC - 16" WUXGA Touchscreen Laptop - AMD Ryzen AI 9 465 2026 - 32GB Memory – 1TB Storage - Obsidian Black

I was so glad to find this powerhouse of a PC on sale for Memorial Day with a huge $600 discount from a base price around $1,500. I was originally looking at laptops with comparable specs from Lenovo and Dell which were priced significantly higher. I've previously been using an Acer Spin 3 with 15.6" touchscreen and an Intel I7 processor over the past four years which has had solid and reliable performance. However, I was unable to upgrade to the WIN 11 OS from WIN 10 due to limitations with the processor. Since I was already sold on the Acer brand from previous experience, this touchscreen Swift Go 16 AI was an easy choice - with the biggest Ryzen 10-core processor, huge 32GB RAM, and topped out with an impressive 1TB of M.2 NVMe SSD storage - the newest, fastest type of solid state drive. Plenty of various ports and other features as well. This mega machine was shipped to my home in just two days. I quickly unpacked it and was astonished with its light weight (3.53 lbs) and super slim design (0.63 in). This power-packed PC is perfectly portable and even comes with a zippered travel case - an unexpected surprise. This is everything I needed in a new laptop - and more, and for an excellent price!

Pleasantly surprised with this laptop. Nice and speedy, with the 32GB of RAM being a noticeable premium, Apps load and multi-tasking is a breeze. Also a big fan of the touchscreen, for apps where a mouse just doesn't cut it. It's great to have that option. Battery life also seems great - had a 4 hour long session with it not plugged in and still had plenty of charge leftover.

Verdict: The Acer Swift Go 16 AI is a great productivity laptop with strong components, excellent battery life, and mil specs for durability. It also has an awesome Gorilla Glass touchpad with custom touch buttons (LOVE that!). I have only owned one (maybe two?) Acer laptop, versus dozens from other brands now, as well as managing all the family computers and the ones in our business. My previous experience with Acer was unremarkable… But this laptop is really quite nice! Well done Acer! This laptop is for someone who needs a slightly bigger screen for a reliable, durable, and capable travel companion. It can handle some demanding games, but it’s not made for it. First impressions. I love the dark gray color and lines on the front. I immediately noticed that my oily fingerprints are already all over it, and they are quite noticeable unfortunately. The power brick is not too big, but could probably be slimmer for a portable laptop. The laptop is overall quite thin actually, and very light. The screen is very thin, and looks fragile as it opens all the way back, but… this laptop features “Military-grade durability”, so I think it will be ok. It’s also touch screen! I like the 2k WUXGA widescreen format too. Setup. This laptop is Windows-based so initial login is as expected. Initial updates took quite a long time. And upon first login, the Copilot icon was not visible… the words were there, but there was just a blank space on the taskbar. To solve this, I unpinned from the taskbar and then re-added it. Functionality. - Face recognition works well most of the time, but is not reliable in low light settings - Presence detection works well; when I approach the laptop, it wakes up and it’s ready to scan my face - There is a Copilot button (love it!). While I subscribe to a different AI service, I am using copilot more and more for quick searches because the button is there, and because it loads and executes very fast (perhaps from the Ryzen AI 9 chip?) - There is an Acer button, which provides access to settings (pretty good). However, the settings window loads slower than I expected - There is a customizable button for one touch launching of apps or setting, it’s a nice touch! I use it to launch a new Chrome window (you just have to map it to the .exe file) - Speakers are louder than I expected. Sound quality is fine… about as expected for a thin laptop - I am satisfied with the number of ports: 2x USB-A, 2x USB-C, Micro SD card reader (seems outdated, but I actually still need it to transfer drone footage faster), HDMI, and 35mm Performance. The Acer Swift Go AI comes with great specs: AMD Ryzen AI 9, 32GB of RAM, a decent integrated card, an awesome touchpad, 1TB SSD, WiFi 7, and a 5MP camera. It comes together quite well and has performed flawlessly for me so far - The integrated graphics card has performed well in stress tests. For testing, I played a short Counter-Strike 2 session on high settings fairly smoothly (~50-60 FPS), and better than I expected without an independent graphics card - While the laptop is thin, I have not had issues with heat yet, despite running several programs and 30 plus tabs at the same time - The laptops is remarkably quiet, even on performance mode when the laptop is not working hard. You will hear fan noise when it starts working hard, but it’s not loud by any means Things I love. - The specs are strong: AMD Ryzen AI 9, 32GB of RAM, wifi 7, and a 5MP camera - The WUXGA screen with 2k resolution and vibrant colors - The touchpad is awesome!! I have not loved a novelty so much in years as the custom buttons that appear based on the application (media or video chat) - It has a physical webcam cover to ensure privacy (thank you!) - It’s thin enough (but not too thin) - Very efficient, leading to great battery life - Quiet keyboard - Presence sensor so the computer wakes up when you are near - AI Capabilities that work very smoothly - Military-grade durability! - It comes with a nice computer bag… perfect! Thank you Acer!! Things I don’t love. - My fingerprints are already all over the computer. Not sure if there is a coating for easier cleaning. Warm breath and a cleaning cloth works ok for quick cleaning. Overall, the Acer Swift Go 16 AI is a great package for a professional on the road, including strong components, innovations like the touchpad, and good overall value. I am very impressed with this Acer laptop and I highly recommend it!

Nice laptop. All the features i was looking for: touch screen, 32gb memory, 1tb storage, powerful processor, gorilla glass mousepad, plenty of ports, nice picture and decent graphics.

overall the laptop is good but had issues with touchpad as it is interfering typing and creates typos , had a tough time while I used that for interview and got typos whole I was writing psuedocode, the keyboard area is fragile goes in whe you little hard press, the screen is mediocre may not be the best ips lcd in market , sound is not that great even with dtsx.If you are using dock or external keyboard u can get away from first two issues , I plan to use dock , overall a laptop with compromises for price as I bought for 899$ , may not be great if you pay full price
