I am impressed by this little action cam! I already have another Akaso Camera, a Brave 7 LE, but since I did not use the front screen very much and needed another camera (kids took my Brave - hahaha!) I decided to try the V50X. I am a junkie for cool/well done packaging, you know like Apple products, and this little camera kit genuinely wowed me... they package up this so neat and cool. Always giving off those expensive/high priced vibes. :D Most folks won't care but first impressions to me are the packaging, and they did a great job. Read the directions for how to remove the camera from the display post and you'll appreciate how they even engineered that part well! As far as all the features and settings, time will tell for me. I like what I see so far, and since I'm an old tinkerer and not a video creator guru or anything all the bells and whistles will take me some time to figure out. I like the quality of the pictures and video I'm seeing but you know... your milage may vary in those regards. I like the high-end branded cameras as well but for me and my limited budget these fit my needs. I shot a comparison size picture with the V50x alongside my Brave 7 and you can see that is very nearly the same size... I do wish the battery platforms were shared but they aren't. But no big, this one comes with 2 batteries, and I have not had any problems with my Brave batteries, so I expect these to be as good or better since they are newer tech. Oh, and I was also blown away by all the attachment goodies they provided. Looks like you may be able to mount these things on a spaceship! Kidding, but you do have a lot of nifty attachment options included for you to start using your new kit right away. Be sure and pick up a good quality memory card so that you can get up and running just as soon as your batteries are charged up... Mine were actually nearly full when I got it, so I was up in no time. Anyway, I've rambled... just get one for yourself and see what I mean. And some of you will likely do some comprehensive video shooting and comparing... I'll look forward to seeing other folks' opinions, but I won't back down off the value of this camera to me! Good Job AKASO!

Camera is very fancy, beautiful, and compact. The camera screen is touch screen, so it is very convenient. Connection with App makes me use the camera very easily and functionally.

The price point for Akaso’s V50X is a great option for budgets or new to action cameras. The camera is lightweight and comes with many accessories to meet multiple needs, including two batteries. The picture quality is 4K and not surprisingly very good. Stability has some minor movement on videos but is not significant. The picture quality is solid and captures live shots well, which are shown in the photos. There is no memory card, but prices have decreased. The menu options are clear and easy to use. Overall, for the price this is a solid option for anyone looking for a good and inexpensive action camera
