You can also personalize the pictures by adding captions to them for Ex. If you are in Hawaii and you want to instantly send pictures back to your loved ones you would take the picture on your smartphone then write "Aloha from Hawaii wish you were here!" then press send. Your picture and personal message will be delivered to the frame within seconds. The recipient will get notified that there is a new picture for them to view. There is no need to load pics to use the frame but that is also an option.
Q: Will this work on batteries or only plugged in to an outlet?
A: This product uses a power adapter.
A: This is the AWDMPF8BB WIFI Frame. Whoever the first person is that sets up this frame is the primary user. All other users that bind to the frame are additional users. They setup slightly different. When the frame is connected to WIFI (2.4G WIFI, not 5G) then other bound users can send photos. So the frame can do what you are suggesting. Good display but over priced
I only use it to xfer pics from my mobile device using their app. My frame currently has 479 pics uploaded = 8G with 4.3G storage remaining. There’s a few things I don’t like such as limitation to the slideshow intervals, order of pics displayed & apparantly my internal storage. If I could redo over based on price paid - I would go with at least a smart device compatible digital frame, that’s customizable with more storage perhaps like a pix-star.

So far so good
Seem to work well enough with the mobile app. Got it as a gift, almost wish I had gotten an android tablet for them but for people who do not do computers, this is easy to use once you do the setup.

Good frame!
I bought this frame for my mother who is out of state. I set it up for her prior to giving it to her. I really like the quality of the pictures if they are original (the ones pulled from Google Photos didn't turn out so well). Also, it was a little combersome to set up, but figured it out after playing with it for a bit. We did end up buying another one for my in-laws, it is good for the price!
