Q: Will this work with apple carplay. Some cables aren’t compatible with carplay
A: Works just fine with CARPLAY, been using for a couple months with no problem whatsoever! 2019 Ford Edge Sych 3 system.

Q: Is this for the Apple phone ?
A: Yes. This is a USB-A (one end of the cable that is identical to all your other USB cables you have at home) to lightning charger and syncing cable. This cable will charge all iPhones from the 5 on up and sync to your desktop/laptop. I actually have this cable and I am a big fan of it, mainly because it comes in a protective cover/case you can use to store the cable when not in use, that’s why I mainly bought it....well actually, it was really to prevent my wife and kids from damaging it, cause Lord knows I’ve gone through a few hundred cables by now between the 3 of them, LOL!
