I love to sous vide and used the previous model often. I saw a great promotion on this one and decided to upgrade. The number one thing you will notice is this warms the water much faster. There is a noticeable difference in how long it takes to bring the water up to temp. Quality wise this feels like an improvement as well. The water flow spot on the bottom of the unit has also been greatly improved.

Works as intended and cooks perfectly and heat up water fast with one, if you use 2 at same time it’s wicked fast heating up.

Excellent—And we’re new at this! We made the most amazing prime rib twice already, and also some juicy and delicious pork chops. Re IEPs are easy to find online. This sous vide is incredibly easy to use. You can plug in and it is easy to figure out. My husband and I would recommend this to anyone looking into trying out sous vide cooking. We look forward to many years of enjoyment.

If you are in the market for a sous vide machine, look no further. I got this bad boy in a Mother’s Day sale for an extraordinary price. I love the Anova Nano so much that I upgraded from the Anova Nano to the Precision Pro in only 1 month. I must say, the Pro is well worth the extra cost. It heats the water to the target temp twice as fast and it can handle much larger cuts of meat. At this price point, you are getting a professional grade kitchen tool that blows all other brands out of the water.
A:Hi Bash
There's no specific pot that needs to be used with it, just any container which won't leak, and is big enough to hold the sous vide itself and whatever you're cooking. For longer cooks, I like to use coolers, puts less strain on the sous vide.
There are a lot of tutorials on YouTube which can do a better job of explaining sous vide cooking than I can here, I recommend the channel Sous Vide Everything. Even though he doesn't use this specific one, instructions are basically the same: fill your container with water, put the sous vide in the water, set the temperature, season and bag your food (either food saver/vacuum seal bags, silicone bags, or ziplock FREEZER bags (freezer bags is important)) put the bagged food in the water, and let it cook. Time varies depending on what you're cooking. A steak or a piece of chicken can be in there 1-5 hours, a whole rib roast could be up to 12. I usually take 48 hours for my short ribs.
A:Yes! My husband came home on his lunch break to get everything ready and then controlled it from the app while he was back at work. Best surprise to come home from a trip to dinner all while he was working. We’ve been so happy with this purchase!
A:You need a vacuum sealer machine . First you season the meat and put it the bag and vacuum seal the bag. Pull the bagged meat in the Sous Vide water reservoir and program the snobs for the right time and temperature.
