A: 5. I thought I bought a six but for some reason I got a generation five.
A: As with phones, most are sold as “locked” to a certain phone service provider. A device sold as “unlocked” can be used with any service provider.
A: You are not required to use the cellular service or attach a cellular plan to this iPad. You're welcome to exclusively use WiFi, if that's your preference.

Q: Does it come with pages or any word processing capability without buying Microsoft office?
A: As with my iPad Air 2, I went to the Apps store and downloaded, for free, the OfficeSuite software by Mobisystem. Has word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs that are fully compatible with the MS Office software of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Oh, the OfficeSuite also has a PDF program. Great FREE programs for an iPad.
