Good addition to my apple ecosphere
I held off purchasing an Apple Watch as I was unsure if I really "needed" one. I'm glad I finally made the decision to pick one up. Nice quality timepiece, that I'm relying on more every day to keep me informed without having to whip my phone out every time I get a notification. I've found the following most useful: Ability to reply to text messages with a couple of taps. When using Apple Maps to navigate, I receive a couple of taps on the watch when my turn is approaching. Allows me to keep my eyes on the road, and not looking down at my phone. I did turn off the email notifications on the watch...I get too many emails, and the watch was constantly vibrating on my wrist. As for the watch itself, the legendary Apple Quality is evident throughout. Fit and finish is excellent. I also really like the Milanese Loop band. That too looks and feels great. I highly recommend this smart watch.

Great for the $$ on Black Friday
I had wanted to get one of these. Been thinking and thinking, and when we went to BB in Ocala,FL and the price was a $100 less, I knew what I wanted to get my wife (the 38mm Sport) and me (the 42mm Watch). I need the watch because of what I do as work (IBEW electrician) so I will surely bash my wrist against a scaffold ladder or one and on, so the ability of the SS watch with the Sapphire glass is more for me. I do manly things and I need it to be able to survive. If not then I wasted $500 on a fancy bracelet. For me, I use the health apps and love to keep track of steps, miles, heart rate, etc. So it's worth it. Now I changed the flexible Sports band out for a SS link band, that I got off e bay for $17. It's black, fits good and I know if I do something that I am not going to loose the watch and never find it again. Of course, being a IBEW electrician, I would NEVER put my hands near anything electrified without the correct ARC flash and also taking everything metallic off, because if not, it is a place for the current to ARC and if you've ever seen someone up close and personal get ARC'ed, having to get that gold wedding band (which is one of the BEST conductors, gold is) it is, be all looks, NOT a pleasant thing. Think safe, be safe.

Excellent Choice for iPhone owners
We reviewed a huge number of wearables for our family and everyone had their favorite. My choice was the Apple Watch since I owned an iPhone and an iPad and thought it would be my best option. It is not overly bulky on my wrist like some of the other wearables I tried and it is extremely responsive and fast. I wish there was a way to show my steps on a watch face, but apple seems more interested in calories. Maybe that will change in the future. I bought a 3rd party band because I wanted a Milanese loop band to match the Black Stainless Steel case. it looks great, wears great and I would recommend to anyone who owns an iPhone and a must-have companion.
