Apple® - iMac™ 2.16GHz with 20" Display - White

This was a great product, unfortunately it was never used by the person it was intended for.

My iPod made me by this. I had heard from some that macs were better than a pc. When my HP desktop died I decided to give Mac's a try (since they will now run XP). I figured anyone who could design and manufacture the iPod had to know something..right? Picked this up, took it home and have not been able to stop saying "wow". *Small footprint. Not much bigger than a 20" LCD *Elegant design *Runs XP better than my HP box did -Software selection is smaller but what is available is very good -Some of the installed software seems simplier than Microsofts products -Slight learning curve with 1 button mouse which I have now fixed with a microsoft bluetooth mouse All in all I was impressed with my new computer. I purchased "Paralells" that lets me run XP in a window. I also downloaded "Boot Camp" which allows me to run XP or even Vista from start up..just like it was made for it...amazing! All in all I would give it an 9...the only downside is the higher cost of the computer to a PC.

this computer is great! i bought it 6 months ago primarily to play games (the sims 2) and the game works great and is way faster then any pc would ever be. also the camera is fun, and surfing the internet seems safer to me. all in all this is the best desk top i have ever bought and i will never go back to pc. mac are much faster and do not seem to slow down even with a lot of games on it.

I bought one of the few remaining white iMacs after seeing the glaring and highly reflective screen on the new aluminum iMac, which gave me a bad case of eye strain every time I spent more than 30 minutes on it in the store. I'm a photographer, so I need to be able to see my photos clearly when I'm editing them, and on this screen I can, without having to fight with a reflection of myself getting in the way. The screen on this computer is actually a higher end IPS screen with a 170 degree viewing angle, compared to a lower end TN screen (the kind found in laptops) with only a 160 degree viewing angle on the aluminum 20" iMac. Colors remain consistent despite shifting positions from one side to the other, from the top to the bottom. A lot of people can gather around this computer to check out the screen, and they can all see it clearly. The clear view is not limited to just one person sitting straight in front of it. Plus, there's no annoying glare or reflections! Everything else about the computer is great too--set up was a breeze. It's lightning fast. And it's just plain fun. If the aluminum iMac isn't for you, search for one of these before they're all gone. It's more expensive, but it's worth every penny.

Just amazing, that's all there is to it. Will make you never want to touch a windows machice again. Perfect machine with top notch performance and programs.

I have to say that i throughly enjoy this computer. Now being conformed to using PCs all my life, it took alittle time to get used to the change. But it really only takes a couple of hours to really get it. If you are looking for a change from PC to Mac, or just trying to get away from Vista, take a chance with Apple. I did, and I love it.

I like everything about this. If you like your Ipod, you'll love an Imac. Safari on Imac is the best browser I've ever used.
