Apple - iPad® mini 2 with Wi-Fi + Cellular - 128GB - (AT&T) - Space Gray

Bought the mini 2 as I didn't need fingerprint recognition and I'm glad I did. Was able to get 128GB to future-proof as much as possible given the processor is the same as the mini 3. Highly recommend this over the mini 3!

I'm coming off a iPad 2 to an iPad Mini with Retina Display. In the meantime, I've tried a variety of iOS and Android-based tablets. Rather than regurgitate points from the tons of reviews available on the web, I'll just give you the rundown of why I'm so happy with this iPad. -Great form-factor. 7.9" is perfect size for me. When I hold my wife's iPad Air it feels so big. -Fast. Moving from iPad 2 to iPad (with A7) is great. -Great screen. At first I was worried that text on the 7.9" screen would be too small. I haven't had an issue. -Long-lasting battery. -AT&T LTE. I live in the SF Bay Area and LTE coverage is good and fast. Biggest complaint. No Touch ID. I was not going to buy a current generation iPad for this reason. However, someone pointed out that having Touch ID on my iPhone is more needed because one is constantly accessing the device (phone, calendar, email, texting, etc). Whereas on a tablet, one tends to do longer running tasks (reading, writing longer emails, etc). It seemed like a reasonable argument, so I bought the iPad. However, given the form factor, I find that I use the iPad a lot, to check calendar, write iMessages, email, etc. so I wish I did have a Touch ID.

As most people would agree...Apple iPads are well designed and user friendly; but when you add 128 gigs of memory and cellular capabilities it allows so much more. I bought this for a trip to Europe and it exceeded my expectations! It had enough capacity to store my music, apps, a whole season of Game of Thrones (watched on the long plane and train rides), and 1000+ pictures and 20+ videos I took on the trip. The cellular capability also allowed me to buy a pay as you go cellular plan, so I also had internet access in Europe too. The Pano picture taking option was also very valuable too because it allowed me to capture many places as a panoramic image that my SLR camera could not.

I am really enjoying this iPad Mini Retina with 128GB of space. I had the iPad 1, and I still have the iPad 3 with Retina, but I wanted something alot more portable for my trips overseas and to keep track of the various work I do. This thing was the perfect size for my jeans, cargo shorts, and jackets for putting them in any of the pockets. I have not noticed any of the issues others have talked about in regards to the screen so maybe newer batches have fixed whatever issues that were there. I use this thing for a multiple amount of things and so far after a month or so it has met and passed all of my expectations!

I had an iPad 3 for almost 2 years and once the mini was available with LTE and retna display it became interesting. I did look into the new air but love the size and weight of the mini. And was a little concerned it might make the typefont to small to read but I was wrong. I am so happy with my iPad mini.

I upgraded from a Ipad 2 (classic), which I gave to an older relative to use for audiobooks and the like. The reduced size and weight is perfect for travel and putting in a purse (my primary reasons for purchasing this particular model) and the retina screen is clear and crisp. I love the fact that Siri is available on this model, making texting and emailing much quicker. The camera seems to be markedly improved from my previous model.

Love this iPad mini. It is very fast compared to all the previous versions of iPad (I have them all). Display is bright and beautifully clear. It is just the right size for my female hands, my lap, and my medium size purse. I use the Apple iPad mini leather cover with it, no complaints.

I upgraded my wife's first gen ipad mini to this one. I got a great deal on this second gen one. She had a 16gb one and was always out of space. Found this one with 128 gb and it was such a graet deal I could not pass it up. The space issue is gone for sure and the retina display makes it even more sweet.
