A: Magsafe is a new type of charger. Can be home or auto. Case is mounted in the car.....phone is charged by induction thru the case.
A: Yes, it does work with other wireless charges. But you wont get the full 15w unless you use the Apple Magsafe charger.
Q: Does this case have a slot to plug in the charging cord?
A: Yes the apple black hard rubber like case has a opening for the charger cable / plug.
Q: Is the MagSafe strong enough to stay attached to vehicle mag mount?
A: My old magnetic mount wasn’t strong enough to hold the phone by itself or with this case. So I purchased the Zeera MagSafe car mount/charger and a higher wattage cigarette charger plug in. I get a very secure hold with the Apple Silicone MagSafe case and faster charge at the same time.
Q: Is it compatible with iPhone XR?
A: I’m pretty sure the phones are different sizes each phone has cases that fit only that phone

A: I tried this today with my Moms phone and yes it holds well. I currently have the clear case but it is slippery and I do drop my phone easily. So I tried hers which has the Red silicone case and it works the same as the clear on the MagSafe car clip by Belkin.
