Q: I purchased two of these, and i was not able to get either one to work (I attached to TV via HDMI an plugged in, and put batteries in lap part). And no pic on TV (and yes, i changed the TVs input appropriately). Strange with 2 diff units. Any idea why?

A: Try a different USB power supply— might need a higher amperage power supply (external USB 5v, 1Amp power supply from Apple iPhone worked for my unit). Or, if you are powering the little game box via a USB port on your TV, try powering the game box with a separate USB power supply. I was unsuccessful to power my ATARI Couchcade game box with either the USB port on an LG 50-inch TV or a small 10-inch little LCD monitor. I had to use a little external Apple iPhone USB power supply (5v, 1A) to get my ATARI Couchcade to display on the TV. I found it odd that the ATARI unit wouldn’t power-up (the red light would turn on, but never would load the game screen on the TV) until I powered it from the USB power brick. The PAC-MAN Couchcade does power up from the USB port on my little 10-inch monitor. Not sure why the ATARI and PAC-MAN units behave differently with USB power direct from a USB port on the TV. Best of luck getting your ATARI Couchcade to power up and play! In the attached photo, it was easy enough to connect both the ATARI and PAC-MAN game boxes to USB power bricks in my setup.
