Pleasantly Surprised
||Posted .I originally purchased this game solely do to the location of Ancient Egypt. I've never been a fan of the AC series, but I did hear they were making changes to make AC more RPG'ish, so I thought I would give it a try. The fact this game includes a Historical Tour Mode was worth the purchase alone for me. After playing for more than 100 hours, I can confidently say Assassin's Creed Orgins is the most beautiful game I have played on my PS4Pro thus far. I often catch my self just looking at the environment with amazement how far video game graphic fidelity has come. Not only is the game beautiful, but the combat is excellent, the story is intriguing and the character development is surprisingly well done. If you are a fan of Witcher 3 or Horizon Zero Dawn, I highly recommend Assassin's Creed Origins. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 Stars is because the "Time Saver" microtransactions feel cheap and manipulative. Many of these ACO MT's feel like they should have been part of the core game.

Why haven't you bought this game yet?
||Posted .Graphics- 10/10 The game is beautiful as can be. I do own a 4K tv but I don't not have a ps4 pro yet the graphics in the game are very lovely & there are no glitches like in Unity. The people actually play into the environment very well too they're not just walking around. Story- 10/10 The story makes absolute since completely all the way through.(Yes I have completed the game 100%!) Between playing as the ambitious Warrior Medjay Bayek & the gorgeous Greek Aya the perspective of their mission is never off track leading you into a corner wondering wtf is going on. There's plenty to do by the way ( hunting, assassinating just cause, or just exploring the beautiful landscape of Egypt). Combat- 10/10 At first I didn't agree with the combat style because of what I'm used to from most people favorite assassins Ezio or maybe even Aveline (sorry those are my favorite). However the RPG perspective of the game makes the combat fighting style necessary & makes you really pace yourself & think about how to do things. The perk/ability system is a plus too & yes use Senu she's you're best friend & very useful( don't be afraid to spend some time flying around with her viewing the landscape). Overall-10/10 I totally forgot to fill you in on Layla's part (the character using the animus) but I don't want to ruin anything. The stories perfect I think I spent over 90 hours playing this & I don't regret it at all. This is definitely a must buy for anyone who is a fan of this franchise. Ubisoft did their homework & I give them an A+.

More fun than Assassin's Creed Black Flag
||Posted .Ubisoft took a year off last year and didn't release a full feature Assassin's Creed game in 2016 (like they did every year before that.) The extra time off shows in the polish of the game. Egypt is beautiful, and some of the cities in the game (such as Alexandria) show off incredible detail. If anything new came into the game, it's that the main protagonist now has a horse he can call. This essentially feels like it was lifted from Witcher 3, how Geralt can call Roach for ease of travel. In addition to this, it feels like many elements from Witcher 3 were adopted into this Assassin's Creed game, such as the loot, level system, and even the quest HUD. Basically this game feels like a spiritual successor to Witcher 3, and that it's set in the Assassin's Creed universe, this isn't a bad thing.

Skipping a year paid off
||Posted .It was smart for Ubisoft to take more time for this game. It is truly amazing to see how much better it can be by waiting. I feels much more polished and well designed. The combat system is cleaner and the world seems more alive. There is so much to do it was overwhelming at first. The main character is very likable from the beginning. I immediately felt like I was playing the first game only much more refined. If you were a little burnt out on the games, it's understandable. But this is the one to get. I haven't had this much fun since 2.

A fresh start, but very different combat
||Posted .It's the best Assassin's creed game since Black Flag, but they made some major changes. First of all you level up, which increases your health and damage, and the combat is more like Dark Souls. You no longer stand in one place waiting to counter kill everyone around you and the controls are very different. Once you get used to it's great but at first it's pretty rough if you aren't used to that. Also for some reason their is very little hand holding between the short tutorial area and the main map. If you get this game make sure you go to your quest log and select the low level main quest or you will ride your horse an hour in the wrong direction and get one shot by everything. After that the game has a pretty good flow while still maintaining Ubisoft's excellent open world building skills. Basically this is Ubisoft finally figuring out how to make an open world game fun. Also gamers club unlocked gives you a discount on the full price which essentially means you get the discount on the season pass too if you buy this version.

A great entry in the AC series
||Posted .This is the first AC game that was released 2 years after the previous entry. The extra time has payed off as they were able to polish this game and make it one of my most enjoyable from the series. The game takes place in Egypt and there are more than 100 total quests to complete and much more to do beyond that. I've spent more than 100 hours between the main game and the DLC and had fun the whole time.

Finally
||Posted .I haven’t really enjoyed an assassins creed game this much since 2. While there have been some I really did like, none of them compare to this game. They managed to bring a lot of new elements to the game while still managing to keep the overall feeling of stealthy Assassin. Hopefully this game will manage to breath some new life into the franchise for future installments.
