A: The processor speed is 1.8GHz. It is referred to as the 'base speed' as the processor can automatically turbo its speed to 4GHz when additional performance is needed.
Q: What Kind of SSD is there? PCIe? M.2? NVMe? AHCI? Also, what is the HDD RPM, 5400 or 7200?
A: SSD is M.2 per the specs. The Benchmark test said it is very good, way above expectations for the SSD when I tested the computer. The HDD RPM is 5400.
A: To turn that function on and off, push the Fn key, then go to top row of keys and press function keys numbers 13 or 14.
Q: Is the case of this laptop plastic or aluminium?
A: The case is made of high-quality plastic.
Q: Does this have warranty? And for how long?
A: of course it has a warranty, it is a new laptop. Manufacturers warranties are 1 year against defects. They offer the geek squad protection to extend it which covers it even up to accidental coverage.
Q: Is there a space to upgrade the laptop for the ram and also the hard drive?
A: Yes, there is two slots to upgrade the RAM. One of the slots have 8gb of Ram and the other is empty. The maximum ram this model supports is 16gbs. There is no space/slot to upgrade the hard drive.
Q: How are the thermals on this. This seems rediculouly high speced for the price, whats the catch?
A: It’ was a secret. It’s a fantastic PC. Everything is great and super fast.mi run two trading screens off of it.
A: Yes I agree. I just got a wireless mouse and problem solved. I never got along with the track pad a all and still don’t. I’m not sure what they did or didn’t do with it. But I just avoid it.
