Q: is this laptop a touch screen
A: Negative - Needs mouse. - I also got Hp Stream 13" - works well. No Disk Drive, with minimal Memory - but can use USB ports for all that...

Q: How can an SSD be added to this laptop, without removing the HDD?
A: You can add an external SSD, which would be the only way to do as you would void your warranty if you crack the case. The plus side to that would be loading your important docs. onto the portable SSD and be able to access them from another laptop. I do this for the seven computers in the Law office that I do IT for as it reduces the need for multiple HD/backups and the sensitive information is stored on a protected SSD then on the machine itself. Another positive is that you can use any external HD/SSD to your hearts content. The only drawback is if you travel a lot and carrying an extra component with you. But as a back up or to increase storage, an external SSD works well and cost less then having one installed. I hope this answers your question.
