Great 4K screen for the price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the screen, am using it for work and occasional gaming. Shipping and setup: Free UPS shipping was fast (3 days) - I ordered on Friday, got it on Monday. It arrived in excellent condition with 3 cables included for: Power, HDMI AND Display port. Setting it up and getting it to run was easy, no software required. I hooked it up via HDMI cable to my 5-year old 17" ASUS gaming laptop with GEFORCE GTX 2GB grafik card. Gaming: Immediately tested Starcraft 2, Legacy of the Void campaign. I have to say, while the screen image is very nice, I probably need a faster computer for gaming now, since maxing out the grafik settings of the game (3840x2160 and all other settings on "ultra") resulted in sluggish gaming experience, i.e. scrolling around looked like I could use a faster screen refresh rate. However, at maximum grafik settings the "still" image of the game (no scrolling around) was fascinatingly crisp and colorful with significantly more details in the effects compared to my previous 28 inch 1800x1080 resolution screen. Again, limitations when scrolling around seem to be stem from my older laptop/processor and from my out-dated grafik card, not from the monitor itself. As for working, my office is of the dimmer type, so I have not tested the screen in bright daylight. But I feel that the image is very nice and balanced with no glare or flickering or any annoying features. Screen has lots of room and high enough resolution for having an Internet browser and an office application open next to each other for simultaneous work on both. Overall, I think this was a very awesome value buy, and I'd definitely recommend it to others.

Good 4K for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The monitor is very bright and is quite responsive. I use it 70% of the time for productivity and it is easy on the eyes though the colors are a bit inaccurate in certain modes. The 30% of the time I game, 2K and 4K resolutions are really good to look at although 1080p gaming seems a bit scaled down on it. Movies and YouTube videos pop on Theater mode. Pros: Really good for the price, Bright yet easy on the eyes Cons: Inputs are hidden and are hard to reach, colors are inaccurate on some modes

Indeed...Very glad
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very glad I got this 4K monitor. I use it not only for my work but also for my hobbies (photography & video) and I do dabble in the PS4 area often and it shines. For the price you are getting a great monitor for entertainment and in 4K where available. I do wish it had a couple of USB ports. Still. Happy camper with this purchase. Movies look great by the way.

Using it for xbox one x and ps4 pro
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found this monitor while browsing for a 4k monitor with no hdr since I dont care for her while gaming. Read the reviews and did alot of researching to see what ps4 and xbox people had to say. I ordered the monitor and was easy to set up and connect everything. I connected my xbox and ps4 and both worked perfect out of the box colors were good but I adjusted them later now it looks amazing. I read people complaing freesync doesnt work for xbox since you cant turn on freesync in the monitors menu this is incorrect, you need to turn on freesync on the xbox. The option on the menu for freesync is for when you plug your computer in the displayport. One problem I do get is that the screen started to flicker when I have freesync on in certain games if I turn freesync off on the xbox it stops flickering, read that it's a common problem with xbox but it doesnt bother me much. Since the ps4 doesnt have free since I have not experienced ant flickering. I recommend it if you play fps games I has gotten me better since its response time is faster, I used to play on a 75in Samsung 4k TV so it's a BIG difference lol.

It's The Real Deal!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome color and picture. Very immersive. You feel like you're there. Very nice for gaming. The menu toggle is connected to the power button. Which kind of sucks. It's a little tricky to navigate until you get the 'FEEL' for it--I switched it off a couple of times until I figured it out. Don't let that intimidate you. I have big hands---and, if I can do it--anybody can. Once you get to the menu, you can switch between custom picture presets (Gaming/ Movies etc) or you can custom set it by tweaking the menu. Adjustments are there for color schemes as well--Warmer-Cooler and different kinds of blue. To test it out, I watched a Bond movie (Skyfall, if you must know) and I was impressed with how everything just popped. You could see rich wood grain in the obligatory bedroom scene and the fires/explosions looked a bit too toasty. All in all--it was a feast for the eyes. I can't comment on the built-in speakers--they are always poor in quality and I prefer my Dolby 7.1 headphones for that true movie theater experience. This was on sale for like $250.00 when I bought it. Yeah, you can get a monitor cheaper than that--but, not like this. Not with 4k. So, do yourself a favor--get it. For all we know, it might be quite some time before we can truly enjoy the movies in theaters again. With this, some awesome headphones and microwave popcorn--you can watch your favorite early-release movies on Netflix...and not feel too deprived. Myself, I'm looking forward to "Maverick" on this baby. I think it will look pretty good--even on a screen 1,000th the size of the theater.

Q: QuestionDoes this support HDR 10?
Asked by The808Diesel.
- A:Answer No it does not. But it actually looks quite incredible despite not having HDR. I compared the ASUS VP28UQG to the BENQ EL287OU which has HDR and tested each while playing Assassin's Creed Origins on the Xbox One X... and this monitor right here the ASUS VP28UQG actually looks more alive and noticeably better in terms of color. 4K quality is pretty much equal but again.. the color on the VP28UQG looks more alive than BENQ's new monitor on any of its HDR settings.

Q: QuestionI have an Acer 1080 widescreen monitor. I upgraded my video card to a GETFORCE GTX 1070 Will this card work with this TV ? Will I notice a better picture quality ?
Asked by MightBuy.
- A:Answer You should notice a big difference in quality and your card will work with this. I have a gtx 1060 and it runs 4K. You will lose fps though because your graphics card is running 4 times the pixels. It also depends on the rest of your system. I would recommend a intel I7 CPU and 12GB ddr3 ram or more.
