To aid in getting the very best picture from your 4K source.
High Dynamic Range (HDR) Pass-Through
To significantly increase the range of both color and contrast which creates an even more vibrant and realistic picture.
Solid core 1.0% silver-plated conductor
To eliminate electrical and magnetic strand interaction and reduce noise. Provides much of the benefit of solid silver, reducing distortion and digital timing errors.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I turn to Audio Quest to connect all of my home theater and "Bedroom Theater" equipment. Put Audio Quest cables in your hand and feel the quality. This Sky 4' HDMI cable is my A/V to PC connection and Audio Quest doesn't disappoint.

Awesome cable
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I get this isn't a "magnolia" item, it's still audio quest and people tend to stray away from them but this cord has 1% silver in it which helps a lot I use this for my roku 4k box to my Denon receiver originally was using it for my PlayStation 4 but upgraded to a cinnamon for sound do two PS4 workes great on PS4 though I was having issues with my Roku 4K box blinking & losing sound until I move Discord over to the ruko and took off the Rocketfish HDMI. Solve all my problems excellent picture excellent sound quality For those of you that wonder why this court isn't in Magnolia is because they wanted to make it available to all stores that don't have Magnolia in them. It's also a Best Buy exclusive highly recommend this cable

Definitely nice hdmi cable for 4k contents
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought recently LG OLED55C6P TV. I am using comcast cable. I bought 3 different HDMI cables to see which cable provide me the best quality. 1) Rocketfish™ - 4K Ultra HD 2) AudioQuest - Ocean 4K Ultra HD 3) AudioQuest - Sky 4K Ultra HD HDMI Cable As I was using comcast cable which doesn't supply 4k content. There was not much difference with all three. But with Blu ray player by playing 4k contents it make a difference. Definitely AudioQuest - Sky 4K Ultra HD was better quality then others. But if you don't have 4k contents then Rocketfish™ - 4K Ultra HD is good enough.

Works as promised...got silver?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We could get into a whole debate about whether silver on a fully digital transport is going to make a difference. If this were about analog speaker cables I'd buy it more, and possibly be interested in the Cinnamon or Vodka versions, but it isn't and I'm not. Silver plating content is the main difference to be noted in versions going up from here. Truth is they work great as a transport cable and delivered 4K content from my Oppo UDP-205 to the AVR for tv output. Looks and works fantastic and this is about my threshold for spending on HDMI cables. Buy these and don't look back because not a soul has realistically seen a significant difference in the higher ones and even then it's based on your system. And if you're reading this review, you probably haven't already bought into the snake oil of other sites' vastness of discussion nor are you at the level where you have the potential to notice. Sure there are cheaper ones out there as well that you could claim meet the spec and "get it done" -- that's a fair argument. But buy these if you're in a need like I was and Best Buy had them in stock. I'm still happy.

Worth the money.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was using Monster Cable and Rocketfish for all of my HDMI connections. Not bad but I heard that a better cable could bring small improvements. Well, it wasn't small. My son noted right away that the PS4 looked so much sharper. It did. So I replaced the other cables with 4ft Sky. Subwoofer Cable? Irish Red! The Bass is smooth and untainted. Colors are more vibrant and everything just looks great. They use silver as a conductor instead of Gold plating or copper. I also have the Audioquest Dragonfly for my audio. As a Dac that plugs into my USB? Fantastic! I couldn't reccommend them more.

Q: QuestionThere's zero information about the Sky cable on your AudioQuest website? Also, there was a section about new HDMI cables on the website that's no longer listed?
Asked by TL.
- A:Answer That's because Ocean and Sky are exclusive to Best Buy. They use the exact same design principles as the rest of the line. If Ocean and Sky were part of the regular line up, Ocean would be in between Pearl and Forest, and Sky would be in between Forest and Cinnamon.

Q: QuestionDoes it matter if the "arrows" flow towards the tv or away from tv
Asked by Jboy.
- A:Answer For the best sound quality, the arrows should point in the same direction as the signal flow, i.e. from your cable box (or BluRay player, Play Station, etc.) to the TV.

Q: QuestionIs this a category 2 cable? I'm not sure if that makes a difference, or really what that means/refers to, but when I look on the back of my uhd movies that is the type of cord recommended to watch them at the highest quality available.
Asked by Gamera.
- A:Answer The names Category 1 and 2 have not been used in many years. Officially there are four types of HDMI cable: Standard Speed (with or without Ethernet) and High Speed (with or without Ethernet). Sky is a High Speed with Ethernet HDMI cable, and is fully compatible with 4K/60, HDR and HDCP 2.2.

Q: QuestionAre these cables in-wall rated?
Asked by TrickyDick.
- A:Answer No. Any AudioQuest HDMI cable with a braided jacket will not be in-wall rated. If that's what you need, take a look at Ocean. All lengths use an in-wall rated PVC jacket.

- A:Answer I am currently using this as an arc hdmi on my Bose soundbar. No issues at all with it, in fact the Bose hdmi cable was giving me intermittent issues that were corrected by this cable.

Q: QuestionHTZ9F soundbar & XBR65X850F tv. Sky cable connects my Xbox One X to the soundbar. 1. Is the cable supplied with the soundbar adequate enough to connect to the ARC? 2. Is it overkill to to purchase such a high end cable or can I step down to cut cost?
Asked by Busta.
- A:Answer When it comes to choosing cables, there's no one "right" cable - it's a case of going with the best cable you can. This is because cables cannot improve the signal they carry, they can only make improvements by introducing less distortion into the system and doing less harm to the signal. The less distortion, the better. The best cable therefore is the one that introduces the least distortion and affects the signal as little as possible. And this is true for all cables. And the further up the line you go, the better it gets. Sky will make your TV sound much better compared to the supplied HDMI cable.
