Q: Are the plastic parts that hold the crispy tray safe for cooking in high heat?
A: I've been cooking everything at the highest heat setting for a few weeks now. Nothing appears to be melting or deformed. The tray has some grommets in the corners that lift it slightly off the bottom of the basket. They are some kind of rubber or plastic. They appear to handle heat perfectly fine.
