    Synopsis

    Beverly Hills Cop III
The third entry in the popular Beverly Hills Cop series finds Detroit cop Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) returning yet again to Southern California, this time on the trail of two car thieves turned murderers. As he teams up again with L.A. cop Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold), Foley's investigation leads him to Wonder World, a theme park that is also the front for a major counterfeiting ring. More action and less wit are the trademarks of this film, which features Murphy dishing out his usual wisecracks, but with less flair and freshness than in the original film. Alan Young plays the old man who runs the amusement park, an interesting setting that still adds little to the tired premise. ~ Don Kaye, Rovi

Should have quit after the 2nd one

This movie sadly falls into the category of bad sequels to good movies. The first movie was great, the second was very good, but the 3rd was really aweful. Anything with Eddie Murphy in it is worth seeing at least once, but this movie was definitely a disappointment to me. The script just wasn't very good in my opinion. The comedic elements were flat compared with the first 2 movies and the several of the main characters from the first 2 movies were absent. So, if have seen the first 2 movies but not this one, I recommend skipping this one as you'll most likely be disappointed.

Eddie Murphy is a natural actor with many films to his credit. The Beverly Hill's series of movies allowed Murphy to demonstrate his serious yet amusing personality. Beverly Hill's Cop III was released in 1994 and filmed at a them park in California. Funny Flik!

Looks Like It Was Made For Cable

'Beverly Hills Cop III' is a dismal disappointment, even when compared to the second film of the series, which was also quite weak. This final installment in the trilogy starring Eddie Murphy looks as though it was almost made for cable TV.

This is a good movie, but it's hard to compare it to the first in the trilogy. The DVD is disappointing in terms of special features. Recommended.
