Black & Decker TO1332SBD Toaster Oven - Toast, Broil, Bake, Keep Warm

Q: CAN THIS OVEN BE MOUNTED BY ITS TOP--OFF THE COUNTER---NOT SITTING ON A COUNTER TOP

A: Thanks for your interest, Joe. This Black+Decker Toaster Oven is not designed to be mounted below a cabinet.

Q: I have an older model B&D Toaster oven that I have lost the tray that goes inside The grail measures 7x11 inches approx. can I order an other one and if so what is the cost ,and where do I order it from . Thank you. Helen

A: Thank you for your question. The loose parts for your toaster oven are available as replaceable parts. Please visit us at www.ProdProtect.com or contact our Consumer Care Line at 1-800-231-9786 so we can better assist you.

Q: Can the crumb tray be removed for cleaning without removing hardware?

A: Thank you for your question, Cooker. The crumb tray on this model slides under the lower heating elements, and can easily be removed for cleaning while the door is open. No hardware would need to be removed.

Q: Why does the toaster oven go off and on when toasting. Is that normal or is there a short?

A: If you're referring to the long nichrome elements lining parellel on the top and bottom, then yes. those elements turn off once desired specified temp has been reached based on the nob settings you've selected. Nothing to worry for. now, if the Indicator Light (which is usually bright RED) located above the buttons turns off spontaneously that would indicate the toaster has a malfunction, the light is to indicate the oven is operating, if it's turning off randomly that's an issue.
