A: The Blink Mini 2 was not designed to function correctly while viewing through a window. Motion detection and night time image quality can be impacted; therefore, we do not recommend installation placement for viewing through a window or glass.
A: Hi there, Yes, you can better secure an outdoor camera by using a weatherproof mount or housing that covers the power connection, or mounting the camera high and out of reach. These steps help prevent it from being easily unplugged or tampered with. Hope this helps!

The Blink devices get added to your Blink account (you must be there in person to add any device since you have to be connected to the Wi-Fi at the time) and you can access the system at any time from the Blink app installed on your phone. It is important to note the cameras require constantly internet connection and power. Good quality camera
Camera is excellent. We have it connected to the outdoor outlets and there's been no issues even with heavy rain, of course you have to make sure the power doesn't get wet but we haven't had any issues. The night vision works well. The sound is high quality I can even hear the birds chirping at a distance so it catches that crystal clear.

Truly a Best Buy from Best Buy!
I ordered two Blink Mini 2 cameras from Best Buy because it was definitely a "best buy"! The cameras are a significant upgrade from the previous model—much more robust. However, they unfortunately do not work with the existing pan and tilt units. The power adapter has been changed to USB-C, but even with an adapter, the camera does not recognize the rotating base. On the plus side, the cameras do not require the sync module, which may be an advantage for some users. The cameras come with two mounting options, like the previous version, but now they also feature a reset button. All in all, it was a great purchase, and the shipping was lightning fast. Thank you, Best Buy!!
